"Chicken Run"...

It's spring on the farm; time for a couple of critter shots. We finally got some blessed water, and the geese and gulls came by the hundreds to enjoy the pasture. The chickens have made nests in the lilac bushes. I' m sure the aromatherapy is great for them but it really #^&*+ to try and get the eggs. I can't wait for the grandkids to come and find them for me this summer. The sheep need a haircut in the worst way. You'd think I'd dust off my spinning wheel and knit a spell - but no. Spring has sprung, the grass is riz - I wonder where the flowers is?

Temple day - April

When Tonia and Dan were sealed in the Medford Temple last November, we decided to make a commitment to attend the Temple once a month together. What a blessing that goal has been, and continues to be. Today was their first time as the witness couple, and they were AWESOME! We always enjoy a little date after the session, including Red Lobster today, (it was DELICIOUS!), and some shopping. We look forward to, and enjoy this time together every month. Can't wait until May!!

Spring Break - Part 3

While Brooke and Taylor were here visiting for spring vacation, we went to the Medford Temple with Tonia and Dan. After attending a wonderful session, we went to a yummy restaurant in Grants Pass called "The Vine". We had a delicious dinner followed by DESSERT! It was so nice to spend the day together in this way. Way good!!

Spring Break - Part 2

During Brooke and Taylor's visit for spring vacation, we went to Crater Lake to snowshoe. The conditions were not ideal - cold and snowing. The lake was fogged in, but there was still beauty everywhere. Dad waited for us in the car as we made our two hour trek to Discovery Point and back. We warmed up and dried out in the gift shop after our exciting hike. We ate our packed lunches, and really enjoyed the trip FUN!

Spring Break - Part 1

Brooke and Taylor spent their spring vacation with us, and we played all week. We spent 3 days in the Crescent City area exploring several beaches. What does an agate look like? We visited the "Trees of Mystery" and hiked through the magnificent Redwoods. A...h...h...

5 generations in one weekend!

Michelle and Dave, and their family, and Mike and Cameron came for a weekend visit. We had a great time together. We took the kids to do handprint and footprint tiles at "Next of Kiln". While we were there, the newspaper showed up and did a story and pictures. We can't wait to see the newspaper! We then went for a photo shoot at Walmart with Grandma Ford-Hamilton. I think they did a wonderful job on the 5 generation shot as well as one of Michelle's family. We had dinner out, and then came back to the house to visit and look through old pictures. They had to leave Sunday in a terrible snowstorm, and it took them 7 hours from Klamath to get home - twice as long as usual. We prayed them there. It was wonderful to goosh on the kids. I love to have family come to visit!
